Keynote Speaker for ESA/RN27 Mid-Term Conference 2018

Maurizio Ambrosini

Professor of Sociology of Migrations at the University of Milan, he also teaches at the University of Nice. He is scientific director of the “Centro Studi Medì” in Genoa, where he directs the magazine “Mondi Migranti” and the Summer School of Sociology of Migration. He is one of the leading experts on migration in Italy. He is the author of Sociology of Migration, a manual adopted in several Italian universities. His articles and essays have been published in magazines and volumes in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Chinese. Since July 2017 he is part of CNEL (Consiglio Nazionale dell’Economia e del Lavoro) as an expert.
